Users assume full responsibility for ensuring that their use of Merlio complies with all applicable laws, ethical guidelines, and personal or professional obligations.

Under no circumstances shall Merlio, its affiliates, employees, or licensors be held responsible for any loss, damage, or harm resulting from reliance on AI-generated content. Users acknowledge that AI outputs may not always be accurate, and they must independently verify critical information before relying on it.

Merlio does not endorse, verify, or assume responsibility for any AI-generated content, including text, images, or other outputs. The views or statements generated by the AI do not reflect the opinions or beliefs of Merlio.

Eligibility

Service Availability

Merlio strives to provide continuous access to its services but reserves the right to temporarily suspend the service without notice for maintenance, updates, security reasons, or unforeseen technical issues. Merlio shall not be liable for any interruptions or downtime.

Payments and Refunds

Termination

Merlio reserves the right to suspend or terminate your user account and your access to the service, without notice and without incurring liability, in case of violation of these ToS or applicable laws.

Adult-Oriented Content

Certain Merlio features may include content of a suggestive or adult nature. These features are intended for users aged 18 and older. By accessing these features, you confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.

Users are strictly prohibited from using Merlio to generate or share:

  • Content depicting real people without their clear and documented consent.

Merlio reserves the right to restrict access or terminate accounts found in violation of these terms. Users are fully responsible for their use of AI-generated outputs and must ensure compliance with all local and international laws.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These ToS are governed by French law. Any dispute arising from the use of Merlio shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts, unless a mandatory provision of the law of the user's country of residence requires the application of another law or jurisdiction. By using Merlio, you expressly accept the jurisdiction of French courts to settle disputes, unless the law of your country of residence requires the application of another law or jurisdiction.

Force Majeure

Merlio shall not be held liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of war, or other unforeseen events (force majeure).

Account Termination

You may terminate your Merlio account at any time by contacting our support team at contact@merlio.app. Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy.
